She has served as a teacher, teacher trainer, instructional supervisor, curriculum manager, elementary and secondary principal, School Support Officer, Officer of Academic Instructional Technology, Area Superintendent before serving in her current role as Superintendent at Southwest Public Schools in Houston, Texas.
